Purposes & Principles
This is an Organization established with the objective of accumulating & utilizing the skills and expertise of its members in an organized way through which it can benefit the society, nation as well as its members.
The principal object of the Society will be to promote the interests of all its members to attain their social and economic betterment through self-help and mutual aid in accordance with the co-operative principles
Caramco is established with a strong foundation of highly experienced technocrats in various engineering domains and runs professionally. We would like to create a company that all can be proud of, and we are confident that, working together, we will build a co operative organization which can be a pillar in the nation building.
Caramco will conduct its operations in accordance with internationally accepted principles of good corporate governance. Also will provide timely, regular and reliable information on our activities, structure, financial situation and performance to all shareholders.
Caramco is committed to making continuous improvements in the management of our environmental impact and to the longer-term goal of developing a sustainable business. Caramco will work in partnership with others to promote environmental care, increase understanding of environmental issues and disseminate good practice.
Our History
Caramco is the first Multi State Co operative society in India promoted by an Alumni Association. This is first of its kind in the history of multi state co operatives with a vision to establish into various segments of business activities with a professional touch similer to a corporate organization.
This is established in 1 January 2014 as a tribute to great visionaries Rev. Fr.Gilbert CMI & Er. P. Balan.
It is a multistate cooperative body of Carmel Alumni,their spouse &children; of age above 18 years from Kerala&Maharashtra; states. 290 members from Kerala & 67 from Maharashtra are members in CARAMCO.
Chairmans Message
CARAMCO is an initiative launched by Alumnii and their family members of Carmel Polytechnic College,Punnapra,Alappuzha for the welfare of its member community. Being a multi state co operative body, the scope and potential for economic development is immense through this movement. I request eligible people to take membership in the society and be part of this novel and noble initiative which is the first of its kind in India. Together, let us build CARAMCO and make it a role.
